PARIS, March 18. /ITAR-TASS/. A meeting of Russian and French foreign and defence ministers due in Moscow on March 18 is postponed, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said on Tuesday.
“We have made a decision that in current conditions, the visit would not be appropriate. It could be interpreted incorrectly. Thus, the trip is postponed,” Fabius told Europe-1 radio.
The minister said Paris and Moscow maintained contact. “For centuries, France and Russia have been partners and remain as such,” Fabius said.
