MEXICO CITY, March 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Venezuela's Interior Minister Rodriguez Torres said Monday that extra police and national guard forces have been drawn to Chacao district of Caracas.

The decision was caused by necessity to restore order in that eastern district of Venezuela's capital.

Several police units are guarding the Altamira square, where opposition activists have been protesting gegularly since the start of rallies in early February.
