MOSCOW, March 13. /ITAR-TASS/. People suitable for Washington come to power in Ukraine, former chief of the Ukrainian Security Service Oleksandr Yakimenko said live on Rossiya-24 TV channel on Thursday.

He called the opinion saying Ukraine’s Maidan activists named new authorities in the country misleading. “Maidan does not name these people, the United States names them,” the former chief of the Ukrainian Security Service stated.

“Take the latest appointments as an example: (Andriy) Parubiy, (Viktor) Gvozd, (Valentyn) Nalyvaichenko — all these people fulfilled the will even not of Europe. They are people directly linked with US security services. They are people who occupied the posts under (Viktor) Yushchenko, and were high-ranking officials in those times, and already demonstrated themselves for the Ukrainian Security Service and foreign intelligence,” Yakimenko noted.
