NEW YORK, March 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Two people died, and 17 more have been injured in an explosion in one of the buildings in Manhattan. A number of people are still missing, said representatives of New York police department.
Gas leak has allegedly caused the incident. The police does not consider the possibility of the explosion being a terrorist attack.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has arrived to the scene.
