Ukraine parliament resumes plenary meetings after week’s break

KIEV, March 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, has resumed plenary meetings after a week’s break on Tuesday. Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov, who was appointed as the country’s acting president by the Verkhovna Rada, chairs the parliamentary meeting. As many as 347 lawmakers are registered in the session hall.

Lawmakers worked in committees last week.
