BANGKOK, March 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Two explosions have occurred Tuesday morning in the Thai capital, both in areas of anti-government protesters’ camps. Three people were wounded, the municipal Erawan medical center reported.

According to police, one explosion occurred in the city’s downtown near Lumpini Park that is used by oppositionists as a camp. An explosive device was set off near a tent with members of people’s guard patrolling the protesters’ positions. In addition, a grenade was set off near the protesters’ ground in the Chaengwattana district of the Thai capital.

On Monday, acting Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra ordered to state agencies responsible for the country’s security to consider the early lifting of emergency rule. The emergency rule has been introduced in Bangkok January 22 due to opposition protest rallies.
