MOSCOW, March 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Swiss counterpart Didier Burkhalter have exchanged greetings messages on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In the greetings messages the ministers expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations. “Russia and Switzerland maintain intensive political, inter-parliamentary and inter-departmental relations. Much attention is paid to cooperation on the international arena. The parties seek to further develop a constructive dialogue in the spirit of mutual respect in order to strengthen stability and security in Europe,” the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
