State Duma to send observers to monitor referendum in Crimea

MOSCOW, March 06. /ITAR-TASS/. The State Duma, lower house of Russia’s parliament, will send observers from all factions to monitor the referendum in Crimea’s Autonomous Republic slated for March 16, chairman of the Committee for the CIS Affairs Leonid Slutsky said.

“Observers of all factions will be sent to Crimea to monitor the referendum. This is our duty,” the lawmaker said.
