337 Russians banned to cross Ukrainian-Russian border

KIEV, March 05. /ITAR-TASS/. In the past 24 hours, a total of 337 Russian citizens have not been allowed to cross the Ukrainian-Russian border within the measures to step up border control entry to Ukraine, the press service of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service reported.

Transportation of weapons, ammunition and explosives has been banned on the eastern part of the border, the press service said.

The operation is being held with the aid of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry and the Security Service, first deputy chairman of the State Border Guard Service Pavlo Shysholin said.

Border control will be stepped up in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as in Crimea, Shysholin said.
