DONETSK, March 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Given the high tensions of the political confrontation at meetings near the Donetsk city administration, it is necessary to stay calm and not to yield to provocative calls, Donetsk Mayor Alexander Lukyanchenko said on Tuesday.
"I inform you that all life-support services are working in the city. Public transport is working according to schedule. Schools, hospitals and all public services are working as normal," the mayor said.
The city council would continue performing its duties as normal, he assured.
"There must be only self-control and calm at this difficult time," he noted.
