KIEV, March 02, 16:32 /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s government will allocate extra funds to enhance the defence capacity of the national armed forces, Arseny Yatsenyuk, who has been appointed Ukraine Prime Minister by the Verkhovna Rada [parliament], told a briefing on Sunday.
“Despite the catastrophic situation with the country’s state finance, the government has found a possibility to ensure financial backing for the country’s armed forces in this very difficult period,” he said, adding that the parliament had passed a resolution to extend financing of the Ukrainian armed forces to enhance the country’s defence capacity.
