SIMFEROPOL, March 02, /ITAR-TASS/. Pyotr Zima has been appointed a new chief of the Crimean branch of Ukraine’s Security Service, the Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov said Sunday.

“Considering the highly complicated situation, we decided to do an immediate reshuffle of officials in the law enforcement agencies,” he said.

“I’m asking the security service staff to remember the main task we’re faced with today is to defend the interests and rights of our citizens living in this autonomous republic and that’s what the Security Service will be engaged in,” Aksyonov said.
