Ashton to visit Ukraine on March 5, to talk to Russia foreign minister soon

The decision to delay a visit to Kiev is caused by the fact that foreign ministers of EU states are expected to meet in Brussels on March 3 to discuss a difficult situation in Crimea and Ukraine

BRUSSELS, March 02,  /ITAR-TASS/. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton intends to have talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the situation in Ukraine soon. Her visit to the republic is delayed from March 3 to March 5, Ashton’s press service reported on Saturday.
