KIEV, February 28.  /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council is considering a variant to impose a state of emergency in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, located on the northern coast of the Black Sea, the Council’s secretary, Andrei Parubiy, told a news briefing on Friday.

“This is one of the variants of the development of events,” Parubiy said.

“From the juridical point of view such scenario gives an opportunity to use the army,” he said.
