KIEV, February 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s government may take unpopular measures to improve the economic situation, said Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who has been approved by the Verkhovna Rada.
“Among such measures I can name the increase in internal tariffs for the population, including for gas. This is also related to subsidies and social programs,” the premier said.
Such steps are conditioned by the government’s intention to overcome the economic crisis in the country, he added.
