Ukraine’s security council is discussing separatism risks

KIEV, February 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian parliamentary Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov is holding a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council devoted to the risk of separatism, parliamentary Deputy Speaker Ruslan Koshulynsky told the media.

“Such a meeting is crucial, considering the separatist sentiment and related risks,” Koshulynsky said, adding that the council’s concrete decision regarding ways of averting separatism should be expected shortly.

“This decision is being drafted. We must tighten the responsibility for the manifestations of such sentiment,” he added.
