MOSCOW, February 24. /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian-Chinese exercises “Naval Interaction-2014” will be held at the East China Sea at the end of May and the beginning of June, spokesperson for the Eastern Military District (EMD) Alexander Gordeyev told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“The first conference has ended in Beijing to conduct the exercises. A delegation of the Pacific Fleet and China’s Navy agreed that the Naval Interaction-2014 will take place in one of the water areas of the East China Sea end of May and early June,” Gordeyev said.

Servicemen will train gun fire at naval and air targets and the protection of naval communications, he added.

“Surface warships, auxiliary vessels, logistic ships and ship borne helicopters are planning to be involved in the exercises,” the spokesman said, adding that the final conference would take place in April.
