Ukraine’s Rada continues reshuffle of ministerial positions

KIEV, February 23, 15:56 /ITAR-TASS/. Tass) - Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada, continues clearing ministerial positions of the persons appointed by President Viktor Yanukovich.

It relieved of duties the acting minister of healthcare, Raissa Bogatyryova, and the acting minister of science and education, Dmitry Tabachnik, and the acting foreign minister, Leonid Kozhara.

On the face of the ongoing reshuffle and a brisk replacement of a number of laws, Rada speaker Alexander Turchinov told the MPs to arrange the setting up of a parliamentary majority and the formation of a cabinet of people’s trust.

“I’m asking you to begin urgent consultations on the setting up of a new parliamentary majority and forming a cabinet of people’s trust,” he said at the session. “Please provide information on the results of these negotiations not later than Tuesday.
