KIEV, February 23, 6:58 (ITAR-TASS) - Staffers of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry appealed to the parliament on Saturday with a demand for the resignation of Acting Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara.
“Verkhovna Rada (the parliament) voted for the dismissal of Viktor Yanukovich as Ukrainian President for his failing to fulfil official duties,” they said in a collective appeal circulated by the ministry’s press service late on Saturday.
“In this regard, we believe that Acting Foreign Minister Kozhara has no moral right to represent the country on the international arena any longer” the appeal said, demanding the appointment of another person in charge of the ministry’s activity.
