MOSCOW, February 22, (ITAR-TASS) - Russian presidential special envoy for the Middle East, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has received Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad to discuss the soonest political settlement of the conflict in Syria, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Saturday.
“During the meeting, the high-ranking diplomats exchanged views on the situation in Syria due to the completion of the 2nd round of Geneva talks between the government and opposition delegations,” the ministry said.
