KIEV, February 22, 17:38 /ITAR-TASS/Ukraine’s parliament is waiting for a written statement from President Viktor Yanukovich on the resignation, deputy Nikolai Katerinchuk of the Batkivshchina party said.
“We’ve received Viktor Yanukovich’s oral declaration. At present, we’re waiting for the written statement,” Katerinchuk said.
However, he declined to comment how an oral statement had been received.
At present, parliamentarians are at a conference hall. The Verkhovna Rada leadership is absent.
