Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada has voted for a release of individuals detained during actions of protest in different parts of the country

KIEV, February 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada has voted for a release of individuals detained during actions of protest in different parts of the country.

A total of 372 MPs voted for adoption of a law on inadmissibility of persecution and punishment of citizens in connection with the events that took place during ‘peaceful actions’. The minimum number of votes required for adoption of a law is 226.
