Two police commandoes die in fire at riot police base in Ukraine’s Lvov

LVOV, February 21, 1:17 /ITAR-TASS/. Two police commandoes of Ukraine’s riot police Berkut died in a fire at a riot police base in the western Ukrainian city of Lvov, Lvov regional department of the country’s Interior Ministry stated at its website on Thursday.

A blast went off at the riot police base triggering a fire, the regional police department said.

“After the fire was localised two Berkut police commandoes were found dead,” the regional police department said.

The death of police commandoes is being investigated.
