MOSCOW, February 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Prospects for a Palestinian-Israeli dialogue will be in the focus of talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and member of the PLO Executive Committee Saeb Ererakat in Moscow on February 24, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said.
“The Palestinian chief negotiator is planning to arrive in Moscow on February 24 to exchange views on key issues of the Palestinian-Israeli settlement,” the diplomat said.
“During the meeting, the high-ranking officials are expected to discuss the development of the Palestinian-Israeli dialogue and key regional issues,” he said.
Erakat will take part in expanded consultations with the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for the Middle East settlement, Sergei Vershinin, and give a lecture at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
