MOSCOW, February 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia will back a UN Security Council humanitarian draft resolution on Syria if it really assists to the situation and if it is not politicized, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said.
“Russia is working with its partners to make the text of the resolution balanced and to provide real humanitarian aid to Syria,” the spokesman said.
“To this end, we will continue the consultations in the UN Security Council,” he said.
