NEW YORK, February 20, /ITAR-TASS/- There were no plans to hold early presidential elections in Ukraine, Acting Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara told CNN on Wednesday.
In reply to the query whether President Viktor Yanukovich should step down as the opposition was pushing for, he said “President Yanukovich was elected in 2010 in a legitimate way”. Kozhara said the results of the elections had been recognized worlwide, adding that millions of people had voted for Yanukovich.
