VIENNA, February 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Iran and the 5+1 (five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and Germany) have agreed to continue their talks on February 20, but their plenary meeting will be short, a source in the Iranian delegation told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday, February 19.
It was announced earlier that the round of talks in Vienna might be cut because of the escalation of violence in Ukraine. Catherine Ashton, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, has to be present at an urgent meeting of the EU foreign ministers in Brussels to begin on Thursday, February 20, at 14:00 CET (17:00 Moscow time).
