Ukraine-Poland border crossing station in Lvov region blocked

KIEV, February 19, (ITAR-TASS) - About 50 people have blocked a border crossing station between Ukraine and Poland in the Lvov region, the UNIAN news agency reports referring to press service head of the local border guards Ivan Galkin.

He says in about 400 metres from the station, the people made a fire of tyres and would not let vehicles go in either direction. They have destroyed the lane separators and continue putting up a barricade across the road. A line of vehicles has been growing at the station, UNIAN reports.

The border guards announce recommendations for travellers to use other border crossing stations, which, Galkin said, are working normally.
