KIEV, February 19, (ITAR-TASS) - Fire has occurred in the Trade Union’s House and in the Globus trade centre in Kiev’s Independence Square. Evacuation continues, people have to escape by ropes from windows of the burning buildings.

The fire has spread to the tens of protesters and crawls gradually to the stage there. The fire has become a border separating protesters, who keep feeding the fire with more tyres, and the police.

The police are not active now. Some time earlier, they attempted an assault, but not they are back to the positions.
