Ukraine parliament speaker suffers hypertensive crisis, media reports say

Deputies noted that the state of health of the parliamentary speaker had worsened after the Tuesday meeting with leaders of parliamentary factions

KIEV, February 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Speaker of Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, Vladimir Rybak suffered hypertensive crisis here on Tuesday, local television reported.

An ambulance arrived in the country’s parliament. Medical personnel are examining Rybak, television noted.

Lawmaker not included in any factions Inna Bogoslovskaya confirmed this news report.

Deputies noted that the state of health of the parliamentary speaker had worsened after the Tuesday meeting with leaders of parliamentary factions, at which oppositionists demanded register a resolution on comeback to the 2004 country’s Constitution.
