Ukraine against outside interference into its affairs – Yanukovich

KIEV, February 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Both Russia and the United States are interested in the peaceful development of the situation in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich said on Friday.

“We are categorically against interference into our affairs from the outside,” he told journalist Vitaly Korotich in a televised interview. “We want to have strategic relations with all our strategic partners. But we never see ourselves in the subordinate role in these relations. We shall be guided by the interest of our country first of all.
