GENEVA, February 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Syria’s opposition urges Russia not to defuse the UN Security Resolution on Syria, spokesman to the Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces (NCORF) Louay Safi said on Friday.

“It (the resolution) is important for the Syrian people. We urge Russia not to use its right to veto. We believe that Russia and the United States can play a positive role,” Safi said.

“If the situation at the inter-Syrian talks does not change, this will mean that they won’t deliver the goods,” the spokesman said.
