LONDON, February 13. /ITAR-TASS/. The UK police have searched a house in Didsbury, Manchester, where a British citizen killed last week in Syria had lived. Local media reported that 20-year-old Anil Khalil Raoufi, a Liverpool University student, died in the fight between two insurgent groups. Raoufi had spent several months with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
An official representative of UK police said that they were trying to establish how a British citizen was killed in Syria. He added that officers were also providing support for Raoufi’s family.
