GENEVA, February 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Syrians’ attitude towards Russia has improved considerably since the beginning of the crisis, Syrian presidential adviser Bouthaina al-Shaaban said.

“Despite the fact that Russian citizens fight with the armed opposition, Syrians’ attitude towards Russia has not changed,” al-Shaaban told Itar-Tass.

“We realize that Russia faced such problems in the North Caucasus,” she added.

Al-Shaaban declined to comment on if Syria’s authorities informed the Russian leaders about Russians who fought with the Syrian armed opposition.
