MOSCOW, February 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian and Iranian Foreign Ministers, Sergei Lavrov and Javad Zarif, noted the success of the Geneva agreements on Tehran’s nuclear dossier, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

“The parties discussed joint steps towards implementing the agreements on further promotion of multilateral Russian-Iranian cooperation, including in the trade and economic fields,” the ministry said.

“Lavrov and Zarif exchanged views on Iran’s nuclear program and the realisation of priority steps in compliance with the Geneva agreements of January 20, 2014. The implementation of the Sextet-Iranian Joint Plan of Action of November 24, 2013 will make it possible to remove concerns over Tehran’s efforts in the nuclear sphere,” the ministry said.

“Special attention was riveted to the Syrian settlement and other international and regional issues,” the ministry said.
