EU enlargement commissioner leaves for Kiev day earlier

BRUSSELS, February 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Stefan Fule, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Good Neighbourly Policy, is leaving for Kiev on Tuesday, February 11, a day earlier than initially planned, EU spokesperson Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen told a news conference in Brussels on Tuesday.

She said that Stefan Fule was flying to Kiev on February 11 for the third time over the past few weeks to demonstrate the European Union’s commitment to help Ukraine to get out of the current political crisis.

Fule has paid two visits to Kiev in recent months to meet President Viktor Yanukovich and Ukraine’s opposition leaders.
