BRUSSELS, February 10, 19:25 /ITAR-TASS/. Iran should take part in the Geneva II Peace Conference, Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn said.
Iran should be involved in the process. “Otherwise, I don’t believe that the parties will succeed in taking a decision,” Asselborn said.
The Luxembourg minister said he was hopeful that Iran would involved in the conference in the mid-term.
On February 10, the second round of inter-Syrian talks was opened in Geneva under the auspices of U.N./LAS Special Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi.
Earlier, for eight days of the discussions the parties failed to reach any agreement on any issue.
