Ukrainian police seize entire arsenal of firearms and explosives from six Kiev residents

KIEV, February 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian police have seized an entire arsenal of firearms and explosives from six resident of Kiev and the Kiev region, the six were arrested, the press service of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said on Friday.

The arsenal included two submachine guns, eight handguns, a hunting rifle, a sowed-off shotgun, more than 300 cartridges, a number of home-made shooting devices, 38 explosive devices, including Molotov cocktails and firecrackers stuffed with nails, as well as a flak jacket, a radio station, a radio scanner, smoke bombs, masks, cassettes and a big quantity of drugs.

“The men apparently stocked up arms,” interior ministry spokesman Sergei Burlakov told Itar-Tass.
