11 die in train-car collision near Ukraine’s Sumy

KIEV, February 4. /ITAR-TASS/. Eleven people died as a railway train rammed a passenger minibus near the Ukrainian city of Sumy, the local television said on Tuesday. Ukraine’s emergency services confirmed the information to Itar-Tass.

The incident occurred in the Belopolsky region near the Ukrainian city of Sumy, around 15:30 pm local time. According to preliminary reports, 11 people died and 5 people were injured and hospitalized.

The causes of the incident are being investigated. A special commission has flown from Kiev to the scene.
