MUNICH, February 01, 21:44 /ITAR-TASS/. Georgia has taken constructive steps towards bringing closer with Russia, Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili said at the Munich Security Conference.
“Stable and predictable Georgia is of Russia’s interest,” Garibashvili said.
Commenting on prospects for developing relations between the two countries, the Georgian premier said, “Russia has gradually started to open its market for Georgian products. Now our economy is diversified.”
“We should convince Russia that integration into the European Union does not threaten the Russian Federation,” he said.
