KIEV, January 31. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s foreign ministry does not confirm information about a possible visit by President Viktor Yanukovich to Russia, Ukraining foreign ministry spokesman Yevgeny Perebeinos said on Friday.
“The information about the preparations for a visit by the president is coming from the presidential administration,” he said. “If such a visit is planned, its goals and dates will be announced by the presidential administration.”
According to Ukrainian media reports, President Yanukovich is planning to pay a visit to Russia next week.
