Thirty-year-old police officer dies of heart failure at Kiev street

KIEV, January 30. /ITAR-TASS/. An officer of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's troops died of heart failure in central Kiev on Thursday morning, the ministry's press service said.

Thirty-year-old police officer Dmitry Donets died of heart failure at Grushevsky Street in Kiev early on Thursday morning at about 05:00. He was healthy before. It is a result of the everyday tension at Grushevsky Street, where Dmitry was on duty to ensure public order, Acting Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko said.

The minister called for stopping protest actions at Grushevsky. "I appeal to those thirsting for coming into power at the cost of human lives. Come to your senses. On both sides of the barricades are citizens of one state," the minister stressed.
