KIEV, January 29. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich has met UN Special Envoy for Ukraine Robert Serry, the presidential press service reported on Wednesday.
The press service declined to disclose the details of the meeting.
On Monday, January 27, during the telephone conversation with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Yanukovich expressed readiness to send a special envoy to Ukraine to take part in a dialogue on the settlement of the political crisis.
Meeting with EU foreign policy chief
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich has met EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, the presidential press service reported on Wednesday.
The meeting involved head of the EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Tombinski, the press service said.
No details have been reported, the press service said.
