KIEV, January 29. /ITAR-TASS/. Demonstrators in a column have left Independence Square and headed for the government district. They are going on roads, blocking transport traffic.
The demonstrators have turned toward the Supreme Rada, where an extraordinary meeting is held. However, they did not go to the parliament building, but are going to the Kruty defenders memorial.
The column is accompanied by a group of opposition members of the parliament.
Demonstrators say their column numbers about 5,000 people.
