BERLIN, January 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Boxer-turned-politician Vitali Klitschko, who heads Ukraine’s opposition Udar (Punch) party, has been invited to participate in the Munich Security Conference due on January 31-February 2, famous German diplomat and head of the forum Wolfgang Friedrich Ischinger said on Monday.
He said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara would also participate in the annual conference on international security policy.
“I believe we will manage to get Mr. Klitschko to the event,” Ischinger said, adding that the conference would gather around 20 heads of state and government and over 50 ministers of foreign affairs and defense.
