UN mediator: humanitarian convoy may reach Syria’s Homs on Monday

GENEVA, January 26, /ITAR-TASS/. Lakhdar Brahimi, the United Nations/League of Arab States Special Envoy for Syria told a news conference on Sunday he hoped a humanitarian convoy would be allowed to the Syrian city of Homs on Monday.

He said that armed formations active in the city had given guarantees that they would not attack the humanitarian convoy.
