Syria information minister: Assad’s fate can be decided only on basis of constitution

GENEVA, January 26, 14:03 /ITAR-TASS/. The fate of incumbent Syrian President Bashar al-Assad can be decided only on the basis of the country’s Constitution, Syrian Minister of Information Omran al-Zoubi said before an inter-Syrian meeting here on Sunday.

“Bashar al-Assad is the red line. So, this cannot be discussed. His fate can be decided only on the basis of the country’s Constitution,” he said.
