Official Damascus is set to continue talks at Geneva II

“We are prepared to do everything possible to stop terrorism. We adhere to political process,” Assad-advisor said

GENEVA, January 26, 13:48 /ITAR-TASS/. Syrian state authorities find an opposition delegation at the international peace conference Geneva II unrepresentative, but the country’s authorities are set to continue talks, Buseina Shaaban, a political advisor of incumbent Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, said before a next meeting of the parties to Syrian conflict here on Sunday.

“We see only small part of opposition here and the whole world understands this. However, we intend to continue talks, because we love Syria,” she noted.

Shaaban added that Damascus is prepared to do its best to stop terrorism in Syria.

“We are prepared to do everything possible to stop terrorism. We adhere to political process,” she said.
