KIEV, January 23. /ITAR-TASS/. The center of the Ukrainian capital is enveloped in black smoke, as protesters are burning down car tires and have built another launching device.
Protesters continue keeping up high flames from car tires in Grushevsky Street in front of the cordon of Berkut police commandos, who failed to put out the fire yet, because protesters are constantly bringing new car tires from European Square. Berkut commandos are extinguishing the fire from two water cannons. Protesters are getting under water sometimes.
In retaliation to attempts to put out the fire protesters are hurling stones at police and are beating homemade drums. A new launching device is much smaller than that the police had destroyed on Wednesday.
Clashes are sparking up at different places from time to time.
