KIEV, January 22. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian police have seized containers with incendiary compound from protesters in central Kiev, an Interior Ministry official said.

"The compound contained liquid soda, a flammable and explosive substance," the police official said.

Police seized the containers after receiving a tip. The containers were stored near the Dinamo stadium, he noted adding that part of the incendiary compound had already been sent for recycling.
